Fee calculation simulation

Interactive Demo of the application-fee engine Dexter shared in Working Group (fee_management_v4_sst.html). Progress so far, a live JavaScript simulation, and review suggestions. Demo ≠ Live — sample amounts are for review only.

2. Application fee simulation

Change campus, applicant type, and country. The engine sums required active item fees, looks up country visa amounts when applicable, and applies SST where the item is marked taxable. SST rate used here is the Cyberjaya Demo prototype 6% (confirm with Finance before Live).

3. Config seeds in the shared HTML

Copied from DVD’s Application Item Fees table (Cyberjaya-flavoured sample RM). Lesotho Live app fee remains LSL 300 in Applicant Demo until Finance Accepts a campus profile.

4. Semester fee calculation (WIP)

Not completed in the shared HTML. DVD noted he will instruct the AI for semester charging next. Planned shape: Program → Structure/Version → Semester → default semester fee, with optional per-student Modular Fee override and additional modules on top. Align with C1–C10 in dynamic fee calculation before treating as Accept-ready.

5. Suggestions to review

Dexter / Vara — Confirm APP/VISA/REG item model and whether Registration Fee is application-time or post-offer.
Vara / Finance — Supply per-campus visa country tables (not only India/Indonesia/China samples).
Faid — Map accepted amounts into campus-finance-profiles.yaml (Lesotho LSL 300 app fee already Demo-seeded).
Tax — Confirm SST applicability outside Cyberjaya/MYR; many campuses should not inherit 6% Malaysian SST.
Iman / Faid — Review this JS projection against Applicant Fee step and Staff bursary verification (no hard-coding Live amounts in portals).
Dexter — Finish semester engine next; keep Standard vs Modular override explicit and campus-configurable (C3/C4).
